Is there any night life in Tofino?

Think of it more like "evening life". There's the Pub at the Maquinna Hotel, which is a wee-bit shady, but exciting in it's own small-town way. There are occasional events at the Tofino Legion (mostly during spring, summer and fall), which are always rockin' and always fun. Then there's Shelter Restaurant for a mellow and funky G & T or martini. And other than private parties, that's about it folks.

Where is a good outside patio that serves food and beer?

Back to the pub question. The Blue Heron Pub has a patio on the water and serves decent beer on tap: Piper's Pale Ale and Herman's Dark Lager, last we checked.

What's the best pub in Tofino?

A better question might be: "What's the only pub in Tofino?". There have been rumors for years that a good brew pub will open soon, but soon has turned into next year, which turned into the year after that [and that was last year!] . Until that mythical place opens where the beer flows like wine [it's a Dumb and Dumber quote - listen here], head to the Blue Heron Pub, located at the Weigh West Inn on Campbell St.

Long Beach Lodge has a pub-like atmosphere and really good beer.

Is there a place that I can find someone to sell me a few of those sparkling BC Buds [dude]?

There isn't a "tea house" in Tofino that will sell you anything like that. We've heard about people buying this kind of thing around town, but we can't be sure.
